Service
1. What the App does
Offline-first construction fraction calculator: exact fractional arithmetic, feet/inch and metric conversion, tape-measure rounding to standard precisions, kerf deduction, center finding, plus trade tools for baluster spacing, timber volume, and diagonal squaring. All data is stored locally on your device; no account is required.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal or trade purposes, subject to Apple App Store / Google Play terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the App except as permitted by the applicable store terms.
3. Remove Ads purchase
- Remove Ads is offered as a one-time lifetime purchase (
chronos_remove_ads) as shown on the paywall at purchase time. There are no subscriptions. - Payments are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Prices include applicable taxes and vary by region.
- The purchase grants permanent ad-free access tied to your store account, usable on devices signed into that account.
- Restore purchases is available on the paywall; use it after reinstalling or switching devices on the same store account/platform.
- Refunds are governed by Apple / Google refund policies — we cannot issue store refunds directly.
- If store terms conflict with these terms on billing, the store terms prevail.
4. Your data — your responsibility
- You own the data you enter. We never see it (see Privacy Policy).
- Keep copies of cut lists you cannot afford to lose (copy or CSV export). Uninstalling or wiping your device without a copy permanently loses history.
- You are responsible for verifying every measurement before cutting or building (see Disclaimer).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the App for unlawful purposes; infringe others' rights; attempt to bypass purchases or tamper with the App; or misuse the App in a way that harms others or violates store policies.
6. Intellectual property
The App, its design, calculation engine, and bundled assets belong to Chronos Labs (or licensors). Content you enter remains yours. Feedback you send may be used without obligation or compensation.
7. Availability and changes
The App works offline and requires no account. We may update, modify, or discontinue features to fix bugs, comply with law, or meet store requirements. Remove Ads access you already paid for remains available per store purchase records.
8. Third-party services
Ads (Google AdMob), purchases (Apple/Google), and system features (share sheet, clipboard, haptics, store review prompt) are governed by their providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. See the Disclaimer for measurement and building-code limitations.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chronos Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, materials, revenue, or profits arising from use of the App — including miscut materials. Total liability is capped at the amount you paid for Remove Ads in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App anytime (delete/uninstall). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or store policies. Sections 6, 9, and 10 survive termination.
12. Changes to these terms
Updates will be posted at chronos-labs.tech/fractioncalc/terms-of-service with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
